When you buy contact lenses from a store do you have to wait for them to be ordered?

When you buy contact lenses from a store do you have to wait for them to be ordered or do you get them straight away.

It depends on what sort of lenses you are buying. For example, if you just need one pair of monthly or two weekly lenses then they may have these in stock for you. But if you need a larger supply or a box of daily lenses then they will have to order them in for you. This normally takes 2-3 working days

Contact lens are a prescription item and everyone is different. I would really be surprised to find out some store has all the different type of lens possible for everyone. It would be impossible. You have to be tested and then the lens ordered for you eyes.
