what happens if i wear cosmetic contact lenses without taking them out for 6 months?
December 15th, 2009 | by admin |oh yeah..and if it is bad..how can you treat what you damaged…please help!!
Your eyes are attracting dirt & you’re storing germs in your eyes. if they were not designed to be kept in for that long you should remove them. you are prone to many infections in your eyes & there will eventually come a point where you will have to get them surgically removed because they’re going to be stuck to your eyes. this can permanently damage your eyes & you may never be able to wear contacts again. cysts can grow inside your eyes lids and bother you for a very long period of time. the only way to treat what has been damaged is to go see the eye doctor and have them prescribe you medicated drops. i suggest you do that sometime in the near future!!!

You can create blisters that turn into scar tissue which may eventually permanently damage your vision further.
You also increase your chances of bacterial infections in your eye by a ton, as well, which could also damage your vision in the long run.
Please see your optometrist immediately.

it depends on how they are designed. It’s they’re just day timers… I’m sure its caused damage. If they’re day and nights, it may not be such a huge deal. But 6 months? You should go to your eye doctor asap. You’ll prolly have to use antibacterial drops.
