How do you know when to dispose of your disposable contact lenses?

February 7th, 2010 | by admin |

They have daily disposables, and two-week disposables, and all kinds of different disposables…. If you’re worried enough that you have to ask about it, then I think you should follow the directions on the box, honey.
Otherwise, you can be like the rest of us, who wear them till they fall apart, or don’t stay in, or get all foggy (protein!), and risk an infection :-)

When you are having problems seeing thru them or they don’t feel good anymore.

Talk to your Eye Dr. for more info

Most contact distributors and the doctor you see to get fitted (ha) for your contacts will tell you what type your contacts are:

Daily Disposable, Biweekly Disposable, Monthly/2-months, or yearly.

If you don’t know right now, check the contact lenses’ packaging. If that still yields no answers, go for two weeks if your wallet can afford it; making sure to take them out at night and put them in a fresh dip of solution to get all that dirt off. :)
