Read the packaging to know how long yours can be stored. If you only wear them that infrequently, you should consider single use lenses. This way there's no cleaning or storage involved. The contact case itself is not sterile (like the sealed ones you get when you buy them) so they still contain germs and other nasty stuff. Changing the solution every few days will help keep the bacteria from multiplying and make sure that it doesn't dehydrate at all. Now, that being said, I have worn contacts that have been sitting in solution for couple months that I hadn't changed and I was okay. Just clean and rinse them very very well and try to keep changing the solution every few days from now on if you don't wear them.
