If you wear your disposable contact lenses longer than you are suppose to, do they hurt our eyes?
October 28th, 2009 | by admin |My contact lenses last a mouth can i wear them longer if i keep them clean?
Honestly, I wear mine longer than suggested because I get lazy and don’t take into consideration that they need to be removed… I have gotten better but my eyes have started to hurt when I take them out and I’m sure it’s because of this… I am really blind and my contacts are my lifeline….I wouldn’t wear them longer than prescibed just to be honest….
It doesn’t pay off… Just get up and take them out… and I know I need to practice what I preach…so I will…

I used to wear disposables and would keep them in for as long as possible except for periodic cleaning. I left them in too long the last time and ended up with some kind of problem on my eye and couldn’t wear them anymore. Be careful. It’s not worth your eyesight just to save a few bucks on contacts.

it becomes extremely uncomfortable for your eyes as long as they r kept clean you might be able to use them longer but i would use them just for the month .
